I’m very aware of how important tech skills are in today’s workplace. Opus works with over 2000 tech clients who all want more people, better people and more diverse people. So while everyone else is waiting for someone to fix the tech talent skills gap, we’ve gone ahead and are doing it.
I’m focused on making our bold vision a reality. Applying our vast experience from Opus, I’m taking _nology from concept to reality, driving its evolution in line with the changing needs and overseeing every step of the process.
My own journey into the tech sector, unplanned as it was, began with English Literature at Cambridge, continued with a brief stint in journalism, and then running a global tech company. My own experience reflects how all-encompassing the sector has become so I deeply understand the huge need for tech roles and the matching skills.
I’m excited to be busting the myth that tech skills are only available to those who have a STEM background, encouraging diversity and encouraging people from all backgrounds to take advantage of the opportunities.
"Beginning to learn code was a revelation for me and spurred me to found _nology. Because if I can do it, anyone can!"
"I'm passionate about baking this core skill into the _nology programme, creating developers who are creative problem solvers."
"Together with the _nology team, I’m focused on ensuring those on the conversion course are able to put their skills into practice, not just in theory."
"I’m excited about helping to dispel the myth that you need to be a scientist, maths genius or an electrical engineer in order to have a successful career in tech."
"It’s also exciting to be part of an innovative, connected, driven and hardworking team, all focused on achieving _nology’s ambitions by using our creative and cultural energy to drive success."
