Why should I become a _nologist?

At _nology we take anyone from any background and teach them to code, after the initial 8 weeks of training you will become a _nologist on a starting salary of £26k with pay rises every 6 months.

We then deploy you into an 18 month placement with one of our innovative clients, enabling you to further your training and gain experience working as part of a real tech team. During this time you’ll have unlimited access to the _nology support team alongside a whole host of other benefits.

Is the training online or classroom-based?

This training is delivered fully remotely via our online training platform. You’ll be taught in real-time, so there’ll be plenty of opportunities to interact, ask questions, and get to know your fellow _nologists.

What’s the training schedule?

This training is 8 weeks long, and you’ll be training Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (you'll get any bank holidays within this period off). Your training period will start on a set, allocated date, which cannot be changed.

Will I be training with other people?

You’ll train in squads of 8-16 people. It’s super interactive, so you’ll work closely with the other _nologists and the coaches. During training you’ll form part of an agile training team, learning by doing. Your team will become a tight-knit group over the fully immersive training period before integrating into the wider-tech sector.

Will I receive a salary?

After completing your training and being placed into one of our UK clients you will receive a competitive starting salary.

In response to market conditions and the rising cost of living, we have increased the _nologist salary range. 0-6 months employed - £26,0007-12 months employed - £28,00013-18 months employed - £30,000

Will I be able to work during the training?

The training is very intensive, and requires a lot of time and brain power! Some trainees keep part-time jobs, but you should be prepared to be putting maximum effort into the course.

Where have previous _nologists worked?

Our client base incorporates every sector from financial services to Fashion, including FTSE 100 and global brands. Previous _nologists have worked at Deutsche Bank, , Accenture, CitiBank, PWC, Sky, Admiral, NatWest and Goldman Sachs.

What happens if I’m put into a role/company that I really don’t like and am really unhappy, can I leave? And in that situation would _nology find me placement else where, and if so would my money stop in between?

If you are placed into a role and you're unhappy, we do our best to understand why that is and help – through speaking with client, providing coaching or additional upskilling. We would want the process to be a positive one for both you and the client, so we’d do our very best to help and sort out the situation. If we think the client is being unfair/providing a bad environment, we’d withdraw you, otherwise we’d work with you get you back on track and feeling happy in the workplace. It is so important for us that you are happy.

If I am offered more than one role - would I get to choose where I go, or would _nology choose it for me?

If there is more than one job offer we would of course consider your input, but we'd also bare in mind what we feel is best for future growth too.

Will my pension be through _nology? Will I receive any perks, and if so what are they and would they be through _nology or the client?
